I am not as firm a believer in Dreamworks as many seem to be becoming. The quality hits they have been having over the past couple of years, like How To Train Your Dragon, Rise Of The Guardians, and this year’s The Croods, really have done little for me. Turbo, from what I have seen, looks like a retreat back into the depths they were before those films that I am not even particularly fond of. Granted, I am sure I am in the minority on this, and I know this film will make boatloads of money. Anything remotely interesting about this film to me is that reportedly Wally Pfister (cinematographer on films like The Dark Knight and Inception, as well as director of the forthcoming movie Transcendance) was brought in as a visual consultant.
